Hi Ladies:

During our class time on last week, we discussed the importance of using our time wisely. Of course many of us are Multi-taskers. We take care of home, our families, our profession and our ministry. We all realized that in order to divide up our time, that we must categorize our day to day lives and set our priorities first. It is an individual choice, therefore we each must decide what is important for that day.
We also challenged ourselves to get rid of the clutter in our lives. Firstly, we have to de-clutter our thinking and then we must de-clutter in the natural. Yes, we need to get rid of some things. We have been blessed with many tangible and natural things, but sometimes too many things can be a distraction. Those things cause us to have more to manage and more to keep up with. So I challenge you to take some time and rid yourself of something this week and begin to simplify your life.

I wanted to wish everyone a very blessed new Year!! I am so excited about this new Year of "A Fresh Start". It has been declared over our ministry that we will walk in a Fresh Start. However the key to doing so is to leave the old baggage, hangups, sin and junk in 2010. We can not place "the old in the New". So I am determined to not look back, but to look up!! Look forward, reach forward and move forward. So clear out anything thing that would hinder you from growing and walking in the purposes of God. No longer can we be halt between two opinions. If God is God, then let him be God and Lord in your life. So join me on this new journey of a fresh start!!

It's Time

The time is upon us to begin our fasting/consecration. This is a moment that we set aside each year to pray and seek the face of God. For some reason, I believe that this will be a unique and special time. God has ordained this fast and it must go forth, to break the bands of the wicked and to undo the heavy burdens. I know that many of us need special things from God, however I truly believe that what we really need to is get in his presence and hear his voice again. So let's all rejoice as we approach this time. We should gladly do this, with earnest expectation!!. So get ready for "Times of Refreshing".

Make a Choice

Good Tuesday Everyone:

I pray that everyone is doing well today. Sometimes in life we have tough choices to make. It can be very challenging at times, but also rewarding. As Christians we must learn to deal with things head on and not retreat and allow the enemy to take over. Think about David when he faced the giant Goliath. No doubt, Goliath was enormous and had much more natural strength than David. However, David said to himself that he would not retreat and let the enemy have his way. He made the choice to fight!! So in this "Game Changing Season", let's allow the Holy Spirit to speak to us concerning making the right move. Ask God to give you strategies, and plans and then begin to take action!! So are you with me?? It's time to Make The Choice!!

Contentment

Hello:

I woke up this morning and read a verse as I usually do and it reminded me to be content with whatever I have. Wow, I know some of you may say, "Am I supposed to be content with lack, disappointment, and all of the stuff that I am dealing with right now?" Well, I believe that as people of Faith, people who love God, that we are to place our confidence and trust in God and not our stuff. Our strength lies within us. The rest of the verse goes on to say that Our Father will never leave us or forsake us. It may be difficult at this moment, but our God is all sufficient!! So let's be thankful for being alive today!! Let's be thankful for salvation!! Let's try to keep our focus on Jesus!!

Missed Opportunities

Hi Everyone:
I was thinking this morning about the enormous amount of opportunities that I have missed. Sometimes it was because of fear or not really being sure of the outcome, or just simply being caught up in a moment and blaming my lack of time for not engaging the opportunity. But I want you to think of all of the missed opportunities that we have had to share the Love of Jesus with a family member, friend, neighbor, co-worker etc. We miss those moments because of our own insecurities at times. Maybe we feel that we are not qualified. Well guess what?? We have been chosen by God to be and example and a witness for him!! There is something in you that someone needs. You have a story to share, you have a testimony, you have a Word from God. So I challenge you to take advantage of those opportunities and don't miss out on your true purpose. It is to love God with all of your heart, soul and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself.

The class has something special for you. We have been in a deep discussion on the area of Lust. Lust reaches into many areas, such as food, attention, sensual, sexual and emotional, just to name a few. So come out and here the final matter in the morning.

Hello everyone:

It's a wonderful thing to be complete in Jesus Christ. I can remember trying to feel complete with stuff, people, money or other things that we care not to discuss!! But what a joy it is to be whole yet trying to become refilled with God's presence at the same time. I continue to learn daily that nothing will satisfy this flesh, but the Holy Spirit. Nothing replaces the hole, but God. And yes, I have to remind myself of that at times, and yes life can be a trip, but I would not trade being Saved for anything in the world!! Just know that when you really accept Jesus as Lord, he completes everything!!

Focusing

Today is a day of focus. We must work really hard at not allowing things or people to set us off track. This can be difficult at times and it takes work. I believe that God gives us the strength to endure, settle and remain stedfast, inspite of all of the distractions. So let's take a deep breath and then back out, and ask the Lord to help to stay focused on our purpose, our life and ultimately on what he wants us to do.

Today I have decided that I am simply going to just trust God!! We have a way of trying to fix stuff, when it is simply out of our control. Have you ever tried to put something together without the instructions and it ended up becoming a bit frustrating!! Yes, it happens doesn't it. Why do we try to live our lives without getting our instructions from the manual? God's manual (The word). So like you, I have wasted lots of time in life, only to become frustrated because I forgot to pick up the manual..

Monday's refreshing

Well today I am still basking in the Glory of God from yesterday. "Oh taste and see that the Lord is Good"!!
I know from personal experience, that God will give us water in a dry place. Out of our rock, comes forth water for us all. We must not allow where we are right now, to determins our future. This season has been a hard place for many, but it is just that a season and it is only temporary!! So stay focused and continue to bless the Lord!!

Today we can all feel the season change in the air. Although fall officially began a few weeks ago, It did not quite feel as if a season changed. Sometimes it is like that with us.
